DIG – A unused site in Hanwell

We want to take this great site and establish a Horticultural Hub to be used by many community groups offering a programme of activities that address mental health, wellbeing, social isolation, social prescribing, special needs, over 60’s., under 30’s.

This is an amazing space crying out to be fully used – A dedicated hub to be used by a cross section of residents and groups, providing a full calendar of events encouraging community interaction, social inclusion, a sense of civic pride and a growing knowledge in a greener cleaner local area.

Help us to grow a garden in Hanwell

Our unique approach is the bespoke and tailored horticultural services, support and opportunities provided by our registered horticulturists and educational professionals.

Working with businesses, organisations, local government and communities to:
  • create & maintain enjoyable & sustainable urban green space
  • give local people the opportunity to learn, train & work
  • generate engagement in urban green space & food growing

“The seed planting and veg harvesting helped [the children] understand where food comes from and gave many an experience they haven’t had before. We can’t wait to come back.”

Teacher, St. Paul’s School, Brentford

“This was a really fun way for the students to get involved in the community. It was great to see all the students busy planting and sowing seeds. It will be fantastic for the students to see the fruits of their labour once the plants have grown.”
