Cob oven building workshop, Thurs 19th & Sat 21st May, 9.30-5pm
We’ll be learning how to build a wood-fired cob pizza oven at Cultivate London’s Salopian Garden. Come and get mucky… I’m told it’s extremely fun and a new skill to learn. All welcome, drop in. Snacks and drinks provided (if you work!). RSVP not necessary, but quite nice to know if we’ll be lonely or overwhelmed. Free.
Abundance elderflower cordial workshop, Sat 28th May, 10-12 noon
Come and learn how to recognise elderflower and make cordial. Free.
Both workshops will be held at Cultivate London’s Salopian Garden in Isleworth, a new veg/fruit/herb/flower community and training garden. It is next to 689 London Road, Isleworth TW7 4ES, accessed via a green gate with flamingoes stuck on it (to make it easier to find!). Between Greenham Bunzl offices and a bed shop. Bus 237 from Chiswick, Star Road stop (50metres). Isleworth mainline train (10 min walk). Hounslow East Piccadilly line (10 min walk). Weekend parking in the nearby streets.
The Salopian Kitchen Garden project has been possible thanks to the help and support of the National Trust, People’s Postcode Trust and Syliva Waddilove Foundation.
